Ten-Times Concentrated Blue Lotus

This 10:1 TPA extract of Nymphaea caerulea concentrates ten parts of dried Blue Lotus flower material into one part of extract. The result is a significantly more concentrated product than a standard 1:1 tincture, with proportionally higher levels of the alkaloids apomorphine and nuciferine. The extraction uses a 32% alcohol base.

Nymphaea caerulea is native to the Nile region and parts of East Africa. The flower held deep significance in ancient Egyptian civilisation, appearing on temple walls, papyri and funerary art spanning thousands of years. It was associated with creation myths and the solar cycle: the flower opens at dawn and closes at dusk, sinking below the water's surface. Ancient Egyptians depicted pharaohs holding the flower in ceremonial scenes.
