Yagra Resin With Vanilla and Rose

This Sagrada Madre incense stick is built on a base of Yagra, a South American aromatic wood resin, blended with vanilla and rose. The scent is soft and sweet: creamy vanilla in the foreground, gentle rose petals in the middle, with the warm, slightly woody depth of Yagra underneath. Eight hand-rolled sticks per box, approximately 50 minutes burn time each. Hints of citrus appear as the stick burns down.

What Is Yagra?

Yagra is a resinous wood from South America that produces a warm, subtly sweet smoke when burned. It is less well-known than Palo Santo or copal, but it has its own distinctive character: earthy, gently balsamic, with a warmth that lingers. Sagrada Madre uses Yagra as the base for several of their incense blends, each with different botanical additions. In this version, vanilla and rose take the scent in a romantic, gentle direction.
