Kanna UC ST herba Powder

Kanna UC ST is the whole, ground herb of Sceletium tortuosum, not an extract but the dried plant itself. With a minimum of 1.5% total alkaloids in a soft profile (60/35/5), it is the mildest base of the range. Coarsely ground, green to brown, suited to resale as loose herba, tea or a raw material for capsules and mixes.

The whole ground herb, the mildest base of the range

Kanna UC ST is not a concentrated extract, but the complete aerial herb of Sceletium tortuosum, coarsely ground and dried. The natural alkaloid content is a minimum of 1.5%, in a soft, rounded profile of 60% mesembrine, 35% mesembrenone and 5% Δ7-mesembrenone. Within a range, ST is the approachable base product and the most natural form of kanna.

Because this is the whole herb, the effect is soft and mild. ST is therefore the logical entry below the extracts and at the same time a versatile raw material: as loose herba for tea, or as a base for your own capsules and mixes. The lower content and the coarse grind clearly set ST apart from the fine, concentrated powder extracts.

For resellers, the quality stays predictable. ST is produced from sustainably harvested plants, in an FDA-approved, PIC/S and GMP certified facility, and is 100% organic, vegan and non-GMO. The alkaloid profile is determined per batch by TLC and HPLC with a Certificate of Analysis. The herb is not soluble; the serving size is 200 mg.

Handling and storage

Intended for resale to adults and for processing into your own products. As a dietary supplement the recommended serving is 200 mg, once a day; advise starting low. The herb is not soluble and is traditionally chewed or used as a tea, and can be processed into capsules. State that kanna should not be combined with alcohol, MAO inhibitors (MAOIs) or SSRIs, is not suitable under 18, and must be kept out of reach of children. Store airtight, dark and dry at 15–25°C.

What slot does ST fill in the range?

ST is the approachable base product: the whole ground herb with the lowest alkaloid content (1.5%). It is the natural entry below the extracts and a versatile raw material for tea, capsules or mixes.

How does ST differ from the powder extracts?

ST is the whole herb, coarsely ground and not soluble, with a lower content (1.5%). The extracts (Exponent, Full Spectrum) are fine, concentrated powders with higher contents. ST is milder and more natural.

How consistent is the quality between batches?

ST is analysed per batch by TLC and HPLC, with a Certificate of Analysis. The natural alkaloid content therefore stays within a recognisable margin, even for an unconcentrated herb.

Is ST suitable as a raw material?

Yes. As whole herba, ST lends itself to loose sale, to tea and as a base for your own capsules or mixes. Account for the coarse grind and the 200 mg serving size.
