Caupuri Variety Caapi Vine in Shredded Form

The Brazilian Caupuri Caapi has big knots in the stems which makes it very different compared to other Caapi kinds. The Caapi Caupuri grows near the equator. Banisteriopsis caapi likes part shade to full sun. It can deal with good colder temps but is best grown in subtropical or tropical climates where it can be planted in the ground.

About our Caapi

Our Caapi is mostly from the wild vine by our caboclo (local forest dwellers, usually a mixture of decedents of rubber tappers and indigenous) partners. We have an agreement and project with our partners for replanting for what is taken out of the forest. Also, we leave the roots in the ground which makes the vine regrow in a reasonably short time span.

The Herb here is strictly offered as a botanical specimen.

What makes Caupuri Caapi different from other Caapi varieties?

Caupuri Caapi is easily recognised by its distinctive large knots in the stems, which set it apart from smoother-stemmed varieties. This Brazilian Caapi variety is valued by collectors for its unique morphology and specific alkaloid composition within the Caapi range.

How should I store Caupuri Caapi?

Store in airtight, opaque containers in a cool and dry environment. The shredded vine format is space-efficient for wholesale stock. Under proper conditions, it retains its alkaloid profile for 2-3 years.
